Ibn Masood t says, "O people! Today people give more importance to actions than knowledge. A time will come when knowledge will become more important than actions"

Today, through books, lectures, programmes and other means knowledge has become very widespread. But this increase has resulted in a lack of actions. (practicing upon what we know) (Tanbeehul Ghafileen)

Assalaamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakaatuh
My name is Faisal Meman. I am a graduate of Jameah Riyadhul Uloom, Islamic Dawah Academy, Leicester. I have initiated this blog in order to share with others the teachings of our pious predecessors. Inshallah, it is my desire that any saying, hadeeth etc, which can benifit the Muslim ummah, that I come across I will post. I will also include links to the websites of authentic scholars. It is of utmost importance that whatever we read is from authentic scholars. It is for this reason that Imam Muslim (r.a) at the end of his introduction to Sahih Muslim quotes a saying that, "This knowledge in deen. Therefore look at whom you are taking your knowledge from."
May Allah Ta'ala accept this humble effort and may he make it a means of guidance for many. Ameen.
